FuturaSun was established in 2008 by a team of managers in Veneto, Italy’s hub of the photovoltaic industry.

However, FuturaSun is not one of those many solar companies which enjoyed extremely rapid growth during the years of photovoltaic boom: we actually started our company just at the time when the first signs of the sector’s decline began to show in Italy, only to plummet in the subsequent years. AUO BenQ high-end pv-panels are the result of a merger of two famous manufacturers. The Taiwanese company is committed to developing high efficiency solar modules. According to EuPD Research (EuPD Research Sustainable Management GmbH) in 2017 and 2018, BenQ has won the Best PV-module category. In addition to its exclusive appearance, the panels strove to meet the highest technical standards of user expectations. Thanks to the high quality cells and the application of the Multi-Busbar technology, they were able to “squeeze” huge performance into their 60-cells, medium-sized panels, which operate at 19% conversion efficiency. REC’s “TwinPeak”, the new high-efficiency pv-panel with PERC technology is available in the 280 to 295Wp range. Maximum power and long lifespan is result of the latest technological innovations plus 10Wp additional power compared to the PE panels. The most striking difference to the standard pv-panels is the structure of the REC TwinPeak, which although uses the standard 156 x 156 mm cell, but it is divided into two identical 156 x 78 mm “twin” sections. The outcome is each module with 120 pieces of 5 BusBar cells. The 60-60 cells in each section were serially connected in 20 units, and the resulting 3-3 series were connected parallel to their center axis to provide a panel of 120 silicon cells half the size of the standard. By halving the cells the passing current is also halved so the resistance was reduced, which also reduced the power loss inside the cells.
